I bought a Z/28 motor/trans with EFI - I'm not positive yet that I'm gonna use it. I drove the Camaro before I bought it and it had great power & acceleration, but the wiring looks daunting (I stripped the wire harness too).
Don't even bother with the old harness unless you are strapped for cash. I tried messing with it for two days. I got the worst headache and finally quit. I bought 2 one from the detail zone and one from a guy off of ebay. Both of them where real nice and worked very well. It makes for a rel clean instalation
