Been running a mini HEI from Langdon's for several years, works great. I take long trip, last fall the wife & I put about 1,200 miles on a trip up into BC Canada, runs like a champ.

I run plug wire to fit a later Ford 300 L6 & platinum AC Delco #7 plugs (gm p/n: 19360569).
