Yes, the large housing distributor will fit- - - -I have installed several of them. The main body of the distributor rises considerably higher above the block than the original housing, and there's just enough room for it to clear the engine properly. The inexpensive ones sold on Ebay are made overseas, and I don't trust the electronic parts in them. OEM General Motors modules and pickup coils fit, and swapping to them makes me have a lot more faith in their reliability.
