The EBay sold complete replacement HEI distributors are an easy swap allowing you to keep your original distributor as an emergency spare. The only problem I found when doing the swap on a ‘62 235 was close tolerances with the block. Didn’t have to make it fit it just fit close. Good luck.🛠
