I used a column out of a 80 el camino, I didn't give it much thought when I tore the s-10 apart to maybe keep the stearing column, I did use the power brakes and pedal ***.and with a little fab work it should work ouy just fine. I shortened the column not the shaft on the elky column and made a new mounting plate, I hope this helps you.
