If you are transporting the boat from point A to point B, the stock truck with an older driver that grew up with old trucks will pull it (although it may not stop it, see the comments by Moparguy).
If you are going to be backing down a ramp into the water..........................NO! Insufficient mass (weight) of the truck, insufficient traction. Doesn't matter if you put a 454 in the truck, still not enough weight!
