You guys are missing the OPs point. He can’t have 2 trucks. Sell the old one and get a new one or make the old one serve his needs. Of course we all want him to keep his truck, right! So, upgrade with a good used LS and auto transmission to match. Disc brake conversion and power steering. A/C is a must in Alabama. Doing some of the work yourself and your budget will be around $6000 to $8000. That leaves $6000 for a party at the lake. chug
