Just as an FYI I got a chance to do the measurements for front crossmember swap.
the 55 to 59 frame is 34in wide outside.
the 73 to 87 frame is 34in at front cab mounts but only 28.5 inches at the front axle centerline and gets smaller towards the front.
So its a definite no on the fit of the complete front suspension.
Might work with a front frame graft but I don't want to cut my frame.
