Is there a wire coming out of the steering column, down by the fire wall? If so, it goes up to the horn button. Check to see if this is correct. Then confirm to see where the wire goes once it leaves the steering column.
I will look tomorrow for that wire. This horne plate looks pretty bad. I assume I need to remove the nut and pull this plate out?
