I guess I didn't give this enough thought before posting. The two elongated holes in the bracket are what I use and not the two smaller ones. It then mounts on the two bolts on the rear bracket, possibly on the passenger side.
Now going back to my question, will I cause any problems by removing/replacing the two bolts one at a time?
