Thanks for the insight kevin! I did notice a melted/damaged section on the Red wire on the ignition switch. I believe that is the wire for start though... anyways I taped it over just to be safe. Electrics are really my weakest point. How can I test if it's hot? Do I set my multimeter to 20 ohm and then connect the black to frame (ground) and then put the red into the harness where the "Run" wire is?
I read the link added before and found that a lot of ppl decided to remove ballast resistors but do you think it would make sense to just add one?
