I just reassembled both steering arms on my 52’. Fortunately, I still waiting on wheel bearings so I haven't driven it yet. When I disassembled, all four bolts had lock washers. If I understand correctly, your saying that the lock washers don’t belong.
I’ve looked in the Assembly Manual and Service Manual for any diagrams to confirm this and did not find any. Do you or any of our fellow “Bolters” have any documentation showing the assembly of this connection?
