I’m going to change out my closed drive 3speed transmission to 3 speed open drive transmission out of a 55 Chevy bel air. Look at the first picture of the the transmission on my 54 Chevy truck 235 engine straight six see the first linkage pointing up, Second picture is the 3 speed transmission off the 55 bel air the first linkage is on pointing down what is the correct way it goes thanks
