Check the wire between your distributor and the coil. I had a similar issue to you a couple of years ago, and it would periodically be very hard to start. I started going over every connection, and when I touched that wire, the slightest touch pulled it from the coil connection. Re-connected using a new wire nut and it stopped dying.
