Well, I just checked and I live 506 miles west of you in a suburb of Salt Lake City.
I checked out the Early Classic site and ordered a catalog. I understand about the track rod...but I don't know whether the best approach is to try to adapt the leaf spring rear end to use the coil springs or to try to convert to a leaf spring setup.
I've changed plenty of coil spring rear ends (on cars) and I understand all the crap that builds up in there. Not the cleanest job in the world...and I've got to do it in my 80 El Camino, cuz the 2.73 peg leg is broke and I have a 3.73 posi to go in it...as soon as the snow goes away.
