Welcome to the Bolt! That is a gorgeous pickup! I grew up on a '46 1 ton pickup and have always had a soft spot for '46's.
When you get it home pour a little ATF in each cylinder and let it sit for a few weeks. See if that helps loosen those rings up a bit.
