Just Mark - by any chance was your '47 produced in Janesville, WI?
sstock - excellent point! I believe the boards are in rough shape and I will want to replace them - that would save me from trying to clean it all up while laying on my back under the truck. I do like Tom's advice as I want to keep this truck as original as I can, for as long as I can!
