I once declined a great deal on an AD with 2nd gen Camaro clip because of the same tire-to-fender clearance issue. I later saw the truck and the new owner had simply changed the wheels to a more positive offset and smaller front tires and it looked and worked great. That simple solution made me wish I hadn't passed on the truck.
