You need to do something for sure. If you take a harsh sharp turn, body roll will likely result in taking out your fender. A buddy of mine just got done with that kind of damage on his panel truck with a Camero front end. His biggest issue was with lowering job and too wide tires. He ended up cutting off the inner roll of sheet metal at the wheel opening of the fender.
