To “Test” the fuel pump, remove the output line. Put a can or bucket down and crank the engine over. Make sure the discharging gas doesn’t get anywhere near a spark. You should after 5 seconds of cranking have plenty of gas in the bucket to fill the float bowl on the carb. I’m not saying it’s the pump just offering a simple way to test the pump.🛠
