I know may of us have opted not to use staples when installing window "whiskers" and I'd like to ask about how the factory installed them.....and I know/think Denny made up a jig to make his own and I think use the same old holes.

Still I wonder about things.. I figure they installed them with some type air stapler......but how much air did it take to shoot it though the cotton picking metal?????

And if they did use and air stapler, wonder why we can't find one as most old cars had them.....or is it that folks just don't want to opting to try use some other method .....or sticking staples in the same hole which can be a pain.

....and the staples had to be tough....much tougher that the ones we buy today, to stand up to the job.
