on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Dec 2003 Posts: 510 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Dec 2003 Posts: 510 | I've decided that I've had it with the Mr. Gasket (or maybe Mattel) throttle pedal in my 64 C10.
I originally installed it so that I could eliminate the mechanical linkage when I put the Carter AFB carb on it.
The cable thing is a real good idea. But it has always had a slight bind in it when coming off idle. That makes it extra hard to drive in traffic. So it's comin out.
I just pulled the throttle pedal, cable and mounting bracket out of my 74 organ donor truck. But it looks like the cable on it is gonna be too short.
Anyone have any ideas what vehicle might have a longer cable?
Thanks, | | |
