If it was a LCF I don't think you would have much trouble, I bet I have 6 -8 inches between the exhaust manifolds and the inner fenders. the firewall would be tight and most likely need mods. My distributor and plug wires are real close to the sheet metal, heads and valve covers have a couple of inches clearance. Factory 283 with SM420.
