Do you have a MIG welder? The metal in the window channel should not be too hard to form on a standard vise. Trim it to fit and weld it in. The hole on the top of the cowl could also be patched with a simple to form patch from thin gauge sheet metal.
Without pictures of the problem areas I am just going on perception.
Thats kinda what I was thinking... I have pictures... but I am behind the times and still use a 35 mm. Hope to have pics tomorrow....
