Yes, I would appreciate any possible updates to the Rochester. The thing works just fine just after a cleaning. The problem is it's only run occasionally for short times and it gets gummed up. I use Sta-Bil but I don't really know how much it's helping.

Teflon is a hard slippery material. Could make a split ring out of it. Don't know about how resistant it is to gasoline. Delrin might be another possibility.
