You've got a 1955 or newer 235 engine, and a SM-319 3 speed transmission with a Borg-Warner overdrive. Neither one will be original to the vehicle. The trans is probably worth keeping- - - -get somebody to crate it up and UPS it to you. A rebuildable core 235, assuming the block and head isn't cracked or worn out, is worth somewhere in the $100.00 range, assuming you've got $100.00- - - -and you need a rebuildable 235!
