I talked to the guy at Langdon's Stovebolt. He pointed out the shortcomings of the Rochester carbs, multi-source for parts and no standard parts, parts bought from many suppliers and poor quality control. Now I have to decide what to do next. He also said that the initial timing could be off. He said if it works by sucking on the hose the vacuum advance is ok.
