The first picture in Curt B's link shows a spin-on setup but with an Amsoil bypass filter. This is what I want to do if you think it's safe for the engine. How do I go about setting this up properly so that the flow and lubrication are correct? I want to do it this way because I would like to add a sandwich adapter for taking oil temp and pressure readings to my gauges. Still trying to find out if the threading on the filter and base will even allow me to do this. Any additional advice is greatly appreciated.
