I have a 1966 C-60. I recently bought another 66 C-60, for parts. The cab is in better shape, thinking about changing the Cabs, I ask this Question in another thread and got Scolded. Maybe I did not phrase it properly. When changing Cabs, I now know the VIN stay with the Cab. So would the proper way be to Register the VIN for that Cab. I have a bill of Sale but no Title for the recent purchase. How do most who restore these old trucks go about, this. File for lost title for that Vin and Register that VIN. I have Insurance on, Registered for Highway Use on the Cab that I am thinking about replacing. What is the Proper way most go about this? Not asking for Illegal Methods, but the proper way most restore such Vehicles. Is it Worth it, or I should just replace the none numbered parts of the cab rather than change the whole cab?
