what i have going on is i have a 1954 Chevy 3100. i have put a 292 in it with the 1965 bell housing that bolts to my original cross member. i have bolted my original 54 sm420 trans to it. all this is installed and working in my truck and i drive it. i will have to do the mod to my bell housing since its already in there.
