I'm not using heat on mine currently but I think the change over from 3 speed to Hydramatic is going to force me to go from current tube headers to the corvette split manifold I pulled years ago so at that point it will have exhaust heat again. I do notice a slight hesitation but followed tips on inliners.org tech tips page and then Patrick's advised me to drastically shorten or even remove the springs under power valves to experiment and run advance timing up a bit and it made big difference. Also using 2 stock oil bath air cleaners and have plenty of room between them.
