| | | | Joined: Dec 2006 Posts: 34 Apprentice | | Apprentice Joined: Dec 2006 Posts: 34 | I have just lifted the body off the frame on my 62 suburban and the frame rail body mounts are rotten where the rubber mounts would go. should I just repair this by cuting the mount back to good steel and welding in plate steel with the appropriate holes? or is there a better way to do this?
