The kingpin bushings are floating bushings meaning that they are not press fit into the spindles. They can be inserted with finger pressure. It is my understanding that oversize kingpins were made available to deal with the problem of a wallowed out hole in the axle. I don't think the OD of the oversize bushings changed. I don't believe there is an off the shelf cure for wallowed out holes in the spindle assembly. Some would say that is a problem that can result from the floating bushing design.
