Hoping someone can help me understand this better. From the bits and pieces I've read, there's difference between the king pins in Chevy 1/2 tons compared to bigger trucks. Something about 1/2 tons having floating bushings and this does not require reaming. Unless the bearing is missing and the spindle or axle have been wallowed out, which then it would need to be resized by reaming for oversized kingpin sets.
Can anyone help clarify this?
