Maybe a broken valve spring? They said valve train looked good. Is it possible #5 Valve Spring (Intake) is broken? Did they visually inspect the action on the valve train (cover off) while the engine was running? If the spring is not broken, maybe sitting up too high, the valve stem lock is off or slipping.
