I Second Johns suggestion!
I also made the 4:10 swap, with the help of the ODSS! The ratio works great. I had two yards of top soil in the truck and it handled it with no problem. I'm totally stock with a 92hp, 216. It was actually the first time I used first gear for a normal drive. Your choice, but I would try the easy route first.
