I used an old tach/dwell meter with some long leads and a gps. The 235 liked 2500rpm and was straining a bit at 2800rpm. Figure that was it's best range. Noted the true speed at those two points on the gps and put a couple marks on the speedo face. No matter what gears or tires that will be my rpm range.
