The earlier Morgan +8 used the Rover (215 derivative). This was from 1968-2004. The BMW came with the re-introduction of the +8 in 2012. Not much difference in the early +8 and +4 you were working with other than the motor. They got a few inches bigger in successive years but still pretty darn light for the power.
