Didn't some version of the 215 end up in the Morgan +8? I helped a USAF friend campaign a 1968 Morgan +4 in central California autocross racing when we were both stationed at Castle AFB. The +4 ran a somewhat beaned-up Triumph 4 cylinder engine.

OOPS! Wrong car line- - - - -the Rover aluminum V8 was developed from the GM 215. The Morgan uses a BMW V8!
