Jay, a fellow bolter buddy of mine, "Dakota", had did exactly as you mentioned. He used and old AD cab and can blast just about anything in it including fenders. I don't remember how he recycled his sand, or if he did, but it would not be hard to have a raised floor in it for the sand to drop into and be reused until its to bad... go for it Jay. You da man.
