dtwbcs, Pull vs Push, that's the rub with this set up, as I mentioned tried a couple methods and nothing worked smoothly. So the solution was the Lokar cable from Summit along with the modern 'spoon' type pedal and it works like a dream, like a new car. Will try to send you a couple pics via pm. Also my carb is mounted cross ways (unlike a V8) puts the primaries inline with the motor/intake, so I needed the 36" cable to make the big loop and not kink.
