I sent mine off and had it repaired and that was 10 years ago and it is doing fine. Someone rode with me in the rain the other day and asked if it was a vacuum, he should have known, he was one of the mechanics that worked on it. Other than the blades I am satisfied with them after 27,000 miles of use.
