Anyone install one? If so, comments as far as reliability, etc? Looks like only one mfg is making it. Going to make the conversion.
FYI....Im sure this is already known but if you remove the glove box liner and door, the vacuum based unit is then so easy to remove. Two screws, dash knob assembly, one clip and it is out. Easy (for a change...). All this because the seat frame is welded to the floor so tough to move on your back and get under the dash, at least on the '54, needless to say.
