A hint to what colors were readily available is sometimes (but, not always) found in a Master Parts & Accessories Catalog (a few are on-line) and/or in a Salesman Truck Data Book (for your year, and maybe "nearby" years - none are on-line).

The bottom line is, use whatever colors your like - unless you want "period correct" colors (if they are known).
