Finding a replacement may be easy but how long will it last before you have problems with it. If you don't feel good about doing the work ask around and find someone who does and have them to it. New gears/bearings/seals and you'll be surprised how quite your truck just became!
Now if you find a used one on the "cheap" maybe do the swap while building yours.....and, the used one may have a different "ratio" than the one you have and are happy with? | | |
