Sure. But the regs clearly stipulate that you have to have the Official ODSS 1-ton Speed Umpire along to confirm all record runs. The official ODSS 1-ton Speed Umpire is, of course, Freyja. If, after she witnesses your run, comes back to the shop and sees her shadow (which she signals by barking twice, following by lifting her left rear paw in the air, and barking one last time), then you will, indeed, be the new record holder.
That rule (the whole speed umpire thing) was passed during the last session of the ODSS 1-ton speed records executive committee (consisting of Freyja and I) about 3 minutes ago.
Oh ... and we also made a rule that the rules can't be changed until the next meeting of the committee*. Which we also scheduled for new member appointments (membership is fixed until then).
Um, when is that next meeting, you ask? Ah ... yes ... um, well the first opening on a very packed calendar was the 18th of April ... 2028. We hope that isn't terribly inconvenient for any of you ...

* UNLESS ... a meeting of the Rules Supreme Governing Authority Board of the ODSS meets and it's decisions are ratified by the ODSS President. Last I checked, that board was Grigg Jr., NAPCO Man, VEW and one vacancy (no proxies). And all had to be present to constitute a quorum (even the vacancy ...). So good luck with that ...
