The "frame checking instruction" for the 3600 in the factory assembly manual shows the crankshaft at 3 degrees, 42 minutes, 9 seconds. How good is your level? I used a magnetic slope indicator which isn't very accurate, but since the angle changes with loading and going over bumps in the road, I thought it sufficient.
