What I meant by removing the sleeve is; the shock bushing has a metal sleeve on the inside of the rubber bushing. That sleeve slides over the fixed stud on the axle. When you remove a old shock sometimes the sleeve can stay on the stud and make the stud look like it has a larger OD, I just want you to know it was down to the stud. The shock extended is 20 inches. I will take pics of the axle and post it, maybe someone will know.
