The shaft has about 1/4 inch play left to right but its not enough to get it off. I imagined it wasn't normal, especially by how easy the other side was to get off. I'm going to have to start pounding on it a bit. Maybe its catching on a groove the worn bearing made on the shaft. If anyone has any more ideas, they will be welcome. Thanks
