Larry, Welcome to the Stovebot. You are definitely at the right place to get answers to your questions.
However, the best way to gather info/answers is to ask questions in the most appropriate forums. Example would be to ask "paint/color" questions in the Paint and Body Forum and engine questions in the Engine Forum and so on.
To help out, the engine number is on a little "pad" beside the distributor which will help us tell you the engine and we also have a "Vin Buster" tech tip here to help you identify your truck in general.
Take a little time to explore the Tech Tips, Gallery pictures and all the other stuff here.
Until you make 4 post you are "moderated" as all new members are, to help us keep out spammers and other unwanted guest. After you make 4 post you will be able to send PM's (private messages), the swap meet and al other stuff.
